Chrome Keeps Getting Better

We’ve all been there

When you get a popup or new tab opening and it just starts blaring sound at you, and it is the worst.  Sometimes you can’t pause the video, at least not without opening another annoying tab.  Wel starting September of 2015, that will be a thing of the past.  Chrome is going to release an update that will detect ads that use Flash, a very very common video codec, and automatically make them pause.  You would assume it can’t be 100% accurate with what it detects as an ad, but of course you can always just hit play.  Some ads will make it through, but they have to get in touch with google before september to be able to do that, and that’s not going to be most of them.  Either way, browsing is going to be just that much easier, thanks to chrome.
